After an absence of almost three years, Honor has made its official comeback in the Indian market. Today, the brand unveiled the Honor 90 5G smartphone during an online event organized by HTTech. In this event, information was given about the design, features, price, and availability of the smartphone for the Indian market. It is worth noting that the Honor 90 was originally launched in China in May 2023, and now it is set to make its debut in India as well.

The Honor 90 sports a 6.7-inch quad-curved OLED display, offering a stunning 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It offers an impressive peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Furthermore, It’s a Zero Risk Flicker Free Display which the company calls it as it comes with a whopping 3,840 Hz high-frequency PWM Dimming that minimizes flicker, reduces eye strain, and ensures a comfortable viewing experience. The smartphone includes HDR10+ support and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut as well.
Honor 90 5G Processor
The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC with Adreno 644 GPU for graphics-related tasks. The handset is paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage type. It also offers Turbo RAM of up to 7GB. Honor 90 runs MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13. Honor has committed to providing users with two years of software updates and three years of security patch updates for this device.

The Honor 90 5G sports a 200-megapixel primary camera with Samsung’s HP3 sensor with the Honor Image Engine for better image processing. It also has a 12-megapixel sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots, a dedicated 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography, and an integrated LED flash unit. To facilitate selfies and video calls, there is a centrally placed hole-punch slot at the top of the display that houses a 50-megapixel sensor.
Honor 90 5G Battery and Connectivity
It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 66W charging. There are all connectivity options including Dual 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity.
Honor 90 5G Price in India, Sale Date and Offers
Honor 90 5G is available in India at a starting price of Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model and the 12GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs. 39,999. Honor has also announced special introductory pricing for the first few customers, offering the phone at Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 29,999 respectively.
The phone will go on sale in India on September 18 at 12 p.m. IST and will be available for purchase through both the official website and Amazon. Customers can avail benefits of Rs. Exchange discount of Rs 2,000 on purchases made on e-commerce platforms. Additionally, those using ICICI and SBI cards during purchases will be eligible for an additional instant discount of Rs. 3,000. Additionally, buyers have the option to exchange the handset within a period of 30 days after the initial purchase, if necessary.
