After a successful launch in China and international markets, the iQOO 12 has been launched in India on Tuesday. The smartphone is the first smartphone in the country to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which promises significant advancements in performance and gaming capabilities. Additionally, the smartphone comes with an LTPO AMOLED display, up to 512GB storage option, the latest Android 14 operating system, and 120W fast charging support.

iQOO 12 Review
Display
The iQOO 12 features an FHD+ 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels. The display comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz variable refresh rate, 1,200Hz sampling rate, 1300 nits of brightness, and 3000 nits of peak brightness. Additionally, it also includes 2160Hz PWM dimming and HDR10+ support.
Processor
Under the hood, the iQOO 12 is the first phone powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in India, it also includes iQOO’s dedicated Q1 chip to enhance gaming performance. The handset has a maximum of 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, it is equipped with a 6,010 square mm vapor chamber with four cooling zones, which optimizes thermal management for better performance.
The smartphone runs on Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14 out-of-the-box, and the company has committed to providing three years of Android OS updates and four years of security updates
Camera
The iQOO 12 comes with a powerful camera setup, which includes a 50MP Omnivision OV50H primary sensor with f/1.68 aperture, optical image stabilization (OIS), and LED flash. It also features a 50MP ultra-wide-angle Samsung JN1 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 64MP 3x telephoto camera with f/2.57 aperture, OIS, and an impressive digital zoom capability of up to 100x. The smartphone is equipped with a dedicated V3 imaging chip to enhance its imaging capabilities. There is a 16MP front camera for selfies and video chat.
iQoo says the main camera and telephoto camera feature AI-enhanced astrophotography and ‘Super Moon’ mode respectively. Additionally, the telephoto camera is equipped to facilitate macro photography.
Battery and Connectivity
It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. The iQoo 12 offers various connectivity features including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, an infrared blaster, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port.
iQOO 12 Price in India, Sale Date
The iQoo 12 is priced at Rs. 52,999 for the 12GB + 256GB configuration, and Rs. 57,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant. There’s a promotional offer at Rs. 49,999, inclusive of HDFC or ICICI bank offers, as per the company. If you have a Priority pass, you can purchase it on Amazon India from December 13; for others, it will be available from December 14.
The Alpha version of the handset features a rear panel made from AG glass, while the Legend model features a back made from white porcelain enamel glass.
