During its global launch event, Xiaomi unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro. This cutting-edge wearable device runs on Google’s Wear OS, providing users with fast performance, extended battery life, an advanced display, and a design specifically tailored to cater to health and fitness enthusiasts. Meanwhile, the Watch 2 Pro will soon hit the market with two connectivity options: e-SIM and Bluetooth, and it will be available in two different colors.
Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro Review
The Watch 2 Pro now comes equipped with Wear OS, which allows users to access various Google services like Google Assistant, YouTube, Google Maps, and others as well as a wide range of third-party apps from the Google Play Store. The specific version of Wear OS it runs has not been disclosed at this time.
The smartwatch has a stainless steel design and comes in two strap variants: leather and fluoro rubber. The device features a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 466×466 pixels, offers an impressive 600 nits of brightness, and includes an Always-On Display feature.
It uses the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 wearable platform, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage for its power and storage needs.
The device features a 24/7 heart rate sensor, sleep tracking functionality, a period tracking feature, a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen monitoring, and guided breath training with stress monitoring capabilities. It offers over 150 sports modes to track various activities and the ability to monitor body composition statistics. All these data points can be easily monitored and analyzed through the Mi Fitness app. Additionally, it supports dual-band GNSS technology for accurate positioning using five satellites.
Other features include real-time weather updates, camera management, music playback controls, and various additional functionalities. It has a 5ATM water resistance rating and is available in both Bluetooth and LTE versions, with the latter enabling calls via an integrated eSIM.
The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro packs a 495mAh battery, which claims an impressive battery life of up to 55 hours for the LTE model and up to 65 hours for the Bluetooth variant.

Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro comes in two variants with different prices. The Bluetooth version starts at EUR 269, which is approximately Rs. 23,700, while the e-SIM variant is priced at EUR 329, approximately Rs. 28,300. This smartwatch is available in two color combinations: a black case with a black fluoro rubber strap and a silver case with a brown leather strap.
