The upcoming launch of Honor 90 5G in the Indian market has been officially confirmed by HTech via its X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday (September 7). The smartphone is tipped to sport a 200-megapixel triple rear camera setup. Additionally, the Honor 90 5G is set to come with PWM dimming with a frequency of 3840Hz. HTech is actively teasing the arrival of a new handset via X. The upcoming device is expected to feature a TUV Rheinland-certified display with 1.5K resolution, remarkable peak brightness of up to 1600 nits, pixel density of 435ppi, and advanced 3840Hz PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) dimming technology.
Additionally, on the Amazon India website, there is a dedicated section that provides detailed specifications for the Honor 90 5G. It has been officially confirmed that the device will run on MagicOS 7.1, which is based on Android 13. Similar to its Chinese variant, the phone will come equipped with a triple-camera setup that will house an impressive 200-megapixel primary camera. For capturing selfies and facilitating video chats, the device will feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Chinese variant of the Honor 90 5G features a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a sharp Full HD+ resolution of 1,200 x 2,664 pixels and a faster 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery that can be fast-charged at 66W via a wired connection.

Honor 90 5G is set to launch in India on September 14, with the launch event starting at 12:30 PM IST. Media invites for the launch have already been sent by the HTech brand. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the smartphone will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon.

The Honor 90 5G debuted in China in May with a starting price of CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,000) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The high-end variants with 16GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage were priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 32,680) and CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 35,017), respectively. When it comes to the expected price in India, previous leaks have suggested that it will be around Rs. 35,000.
