Rumors suggest that Apple is exploring the possibility of including a punch-hole display in the iPhone 16 Pro models. A source known as Majin Bu on X has indicated that a hole punch version of the iPhone 16 Pro is currently in the testing phase. It’s important to note that this design is in the experimental stage and may not be the definitive choice for the upcoming iPhone lineup, as the insider warned. More details are expected to emerge in March next year, providing more clarity on the matter.

The punch-hole display appears unlikely to be implemented, especially considering that it is exclusive to the iPhone 14 Pro models and the iPhone 15 series with Dynamic Island Display. Keeping in mind the extensive customization invested in Dynamic Island, an intuitive pill-shaped cutout has been introduced to display alerts, current activity, and other information.
