The official launch date of iQOO 12 5G in India has been revealed. The successor to the iQOO 11 will be officially unveiled in the country on December 12. The brand has also confirmed that the flagship phone will be sold through Amazon. Notably, the iQOO 12 will mark a significant milestone as the first phone in India to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. While there have been leaks about the iQOO 12 Pro, it appears that this particular model is not expected to be released in the Indian market.

According to a poster image posted by iQOO, the iQOO 12 5G is set to make its India debut on December 12. The teaser image offers a glimpse of the rear camera design, which aligns with previously leaked renders and live images that have surfaced in recent weeks. Additionally, the poster also confirms the launch of a special edition model inspired by BMW motorsport, similar to the iQOO 11 Legend. After the official unveiling, the iQOO 12 will be available for purchase on Amazon.
iQOO 12 5G Specification
The upcoming iQOO 12 is expected to flaunt some impressive specifications. It is rumored to feature a generous 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE OLED display with a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset ensuring smooth performance.
iQOO 12 Pro has surfaced on Geekbench, with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 16 GB RAM, and an Android 14 operating system. Given that its predecessor, the iQOO 11 Pro, never hit the Indian market, it seems unlikely that the brand will introduce the iQOO 12 Pro in India. It is expected that this model will be limited to China only.
