Lava has introduced its latest affordable 5G smartphone, the Lava Blaze 2 5G, as the successor to last year’s Lava Blaze 5G. The device features a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, which offers smooth visuals. It is equipped with the Dimensity 6020 SoC, which is essentially a rebranded version of the Dimensity 700. Additionally, the phone offers up to 6GB of physical RAM and an additional 6GB of virtual RAM for better performance.

Lava Blaze 2 5G Display
The Lava Blaze 2 5G features a 6.56-inch 2.5D curved IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display includes a centrally located punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera.
Lava Blaze 2 5G Performance
Under the hood, the Blaze 2 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC under the hood, combined with a Mali G57 GPU for graphics processing. It offers users up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 1TB using the microSD card slot. In particular, Virtual RAM expansion technology allows adding an additional 6GB of RAM.
The handset runs on Android 13 without bloatware or ads. The device will get an update to Android 14, and it will receive security updates every three months for two years.

For Optics, the Lava Blaze 2 5G sports a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera designed for taking selfies and making video calls. Additionally, this phone is loaded with multiple inbuilt camera features and modes including Film, Slow Motion, Timelapse, UHD, GIF, Beauty, HDR, Night, Portrait, AI, Pro, Panorama, Filters, and Intelligent Scanning.
