Today Motorola launched its new smartphone “Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G ” in the Indian market, which was initially launched in May this year. Positioned as a budget-friendly option within the series, the Moto Edge 40 Neo boasts impressive specs, including a 144Hz display, a massive 5,000mAh battery, 12GB of RAM, and 5G connectivity. Motorola claims that the Edge 40 Neo is the world’s lightest phone with an IP68 rating. The phone measures 7.89mm thick and weighs about 172 grams. Know about all the details here.

The Moto Edge 40 5G Neo comes equipped with a stunning 6.55-inch 10-bit polarized display, which offers a remarkable 144Hz refresh rate and an impressive 360Hz touch sampling rate. This curved display offers a peak brightness of 1300 nits and supports HDR10+, making for a great viewing experience. Additionally, the screen covers the DCI-P3 color space, which further enhances color accuracy, and also supports HDR10+ for exceptional dynamic range. Furthermore, the handset has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for display protection.

Motorola Edge 40 Neo 5G Processor

In terms of processing power, the Moto Edge 40 Neo 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7030 SoC, which is built using the advanced 6nm process. It’s paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, to handle graphics-intensive tasks, it includes a Mali-G610 MC3 GPU. There is no option for memory expansion. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android 13 and has MyUX skin as its user interface. Motorola has promised Android updates for 2 years and security patches for 3 years.

Moto Edge 40 Neo 5G is available in two variants. The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage starts at Rs 23,999. Additionally, there is a higher-end configuration with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, which has a base price of Rs 25,999. However, Motorola is currently offering a special festive promotion that lets you buy the 8GB/128GB variant for just Rs 20,999 and the 12GB/256GB variant for just Rs 22,999, but this offer is for a limited time.
