Nothing Phone 2 Screenshot Shares Carl Pei, Revealing Display Design Ahead of Lunch

Hello! Friends, The much-awaited Nothing Phone 2 launch in India is just a few weeks away. Nothing, along with its CEO Carl Pei, has been teasing the design and specifications of the smartphone since last month. In a recent reveal, Pei showcased the display of the upcoming device, hinting that it will not feature the hole-punch camera cutout on the left side found on the Nothing Phone 1. The Nothing Phone 2 will come with a 6.7-inch display and be powered by the more powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which is a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 778G+ featured on its predecessor.

Nothing founder Pei recently shared a screenshot on Twitter, which is believed to be the upcoming Nothing Phone 2. A closer look at the image reveals notable differences compared to last year’s model. The home screen design points to a small gap between the clock on the Nothing Phone 2’s display and the top left corner of the screen. This suggests a deviation from the hole-punch display cutout on the left side found in the previous model. Instead, it hints at the possibility of a centrally positioned hole-punch display cutout to accommodate the selfie camera in the upcoming phone.

The recently shared design teaser for the Nothing Phone 2 clearly indicates the presence of a centrally-positioned hole-punch cutout on the display. The teaser image, which appears to be a screenshot of the upcoming smartphone, suggests that the design could be similar to the software interface of the company’s first-generation smartphone. It has been confirmed by the company that the Nothing Phone 2 will have a 6.7-inch display screen.

The company has officially confirmed several specifications of the phone, including the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 4,700mAh battery. Along with these details, the company also hinted at a redesigned rear glyph interface for the phone, all of which were revealed during the launch date announcement of the smartphone.

Tech company Nothing has announced that its upcoming Nothing Phone 2 will include extensive stability features. The device will use 100 percent recycled tin on its nine circuit boards, as well as 100 percent recycled copper foil on the main circuit board and more than 90 percent recycled steel on its 28 steel stamping parts. Furthermore, the smartphone will feature sustainably sourced plastic parts, which will account for 80 percent of the total plastic components. Additionally, Nothing emphasizes its commitment to environmental responsibility by ensuring that its final assembly plants are powered entirely by renewable energy.
