According to the report, the upcoming smartwatch will include a speaker grill on one side and two buttons on the opposite side. Additionally, key specifications revealed in the report include a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset as part of the hardware.
The report suggests the possibility of the smartwatch retaining a custom RTOS platform, but it would be unusual for OnePlus to choose this option, especially considering the use of the latest chipset. As a result, optimism remains that the OnePlus Watch 2 may be powered by Google’s WearOS instead.
