Honor 100 Series Leaked Specs Suggest to Get 1.5K Resolution Displays, Powerful SoCs

The official launch of the Honor 100 series, which includes the vanilla Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro models, is scheduled for November 23. Just ahead of the official unveiling, a Chinese tipster revealed key specifications of the upcoming Honor smartphone. According to the leak, these devices will feature 3,840K resolution displays equipped with 1.5Hz pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming. Additionally, the Honor 100 is rumored to be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.

Honor 100 Series Specs

Digital Chat Station, a trusted tipster on Weibo, recently shared details about the upcoming Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro models. According to the leak, both phones will have a high-resolution 1.5K display and use 3,840Hz PWM dimming technology. The standard model is expected to be equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.

This mobile platform, announced by Qualcomm on November 17, boasts significant improvements over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 features a Qualcomm Kryo CPU with a maximum speed of 2.63 GHz, which includes three performance cores clocked at 2.4 GHz. And four efficient cores with speeds up to 1.8GHz.

The Honor 100 Pro is rumored to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which represents an improvement over its precursor, the Honor 90 Pro, which debuted with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Additionally, both devices are expected to have 50-megapixel primary rear cameras with 100W charging capability and optical image stabilization (OIS) support.

Honor has officially announced the launch date of Honor 100 and Honor 100 Pro in China, which is scheduled for November 23. The brand has unveiled official renders showcasing the design of both handsets. The Honor 100 has a dual rear camera setup, while the Honor 100 Pro has a triple rear camera arrangement. Although there is no information regarding the global launch, it is estimated that Honor will release additional teasers for these smartphones in the coming days.

The upcoming Honor 100 series is expected to have improved features compared to the Honor 90 series. The Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro were introduced in China in May, with starting prices of CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,160) and CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 38,000), respectively.
